PDO Thread Brow Lift in Norwich
Dreaming of sexy, ‘cat-like’ eyes? This hugely popular PDO thread eye lift or ‘fox eye lift’ is now available at Alison Mary PMU & Aesthetics.
It is a fast and relatively pain-free treatment with amazing results.
The fox eye/brow lift can even be done on your lunch break!
PDO threads are one of the most innovative non-surgical treatments available on the market today.
This technique delivers you the results that could previously only be achieved with expensive surgery or multiple dermal fillers.
The fox eye/brow lift is designed to lift the tail of your eyebrows, giving the eye a very desirable 'fox eye' or 'cat eye' shape.
Because of this, your eyelid space will be opened up a little and the lift will reduce the eye sagging related to age.
If you have a heavier eyelid, this this will not lift that.
The treatment is quite simple – using dissolvable suture threads, the outer brow and eye corner is pulled to lift any sagging of the upper eyelid. The amount of lift given is completely customisable, depending on the severity of sagging and the result you want to achieve.

Who is a suitable candidate?
Whilst this procedure is fantastic with some great results, correct candidate selection is very important.
Because of this I'm only offering a consultation service for this before any treatment can go ahead and be booked - to avoid disappointment.
The right client will have good movement with the skin either side of their brows and above their brows.
You can check this by gently pulling up and out to see how much lift can be achieved - PLEASE SEE THE VIDEO.
Those clients who have frequent botox injections are likely not to be suitable candidates as the skin will be very tight with very little movement available.
Therefore, the lift will be minimal to none.

Different Types of PDO Threads
Mono threads are a type of single PDO filament. These threads are smooth and are minimally invasive.
Once in the skin, the threads activate collagen synthesis for a gradual skin tightening and skin rejuvenation effect.
Cog threads are similar to mono threads but contain barbs that attach and 'hook' to the underside of the skin. These are used to create Fox Eyes/Brow Lifts.
If you’re looking to give areas of your face more volume, screw threads are an excellent option.
To create a V-shape face, screw threads help to reverse sunken areas and give the face a non-surgical facelift.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Fox Eye/Brow Lift?
The Fox Eye/Brow Lift Thread-lift is a procedure which uses dissolvable cog threads to lift and elongate the tail of the brow. This creates a Bella Hadid-like look with a slighlty more open upper eyelid.
Will this work for me if I have hooded eyelids?
It can help open the eye a little, yes. We can either lift the tail or the arch - depending on your goal. The healed result will not e extreme, but subtle.
How is the Fox Eye/Brow Lift performed?
Can the Fox Eye/Brow Lift be achieved with anti-wrinkle (botox) injections?
No. The lift provided by anti-wrinkle (botox) injections cannot reliably ever produce these results as the muscles do not lift or pull the eye lid up and out in the same way at all. It can help a little, but will not provide the kind of lift and pull created by (cog) threads.
Can the Fox Eye/Brow Lift be achieved with filler?
Is the Fox Eye/Brow Lift procedure safe?
Will I have a scar?
Is the treatment painful?
You will be provided with a local anaesthetic injection at the insertion site.
What is the downtime?
How long will the results last?
Will my skin be more saggy after the threads dissolve?
No. In fact, your skin will likely be more firm, as threads stimulate collagen which is what makes the skin less prone to sagging or wrinkles!
