Fox Eyes, Cat Eye PDO Thread Lift in Norwich.

Dreaming of sexy, ‘cat-like’ eyes? This hugely popular PDO thread eye lift or ‘fox eye lift’ is now available at Alison Mary PMU & Aesthetics.

It is a fast and relatively pain-free treatment with amazing results.
The fox eye lift can even be done on your lunch break!

PDO threads are one of the most innovative non-surgical treatments available on the market today.

This technique delivers you the results that could previously only be achieved with expensive surgery or multiple dermal fillers.

The fox eye lift is designed to lift the outer corners of your eyes and the tail of your eyebrow, giving the eye a very desirable 'fox eye' or 'cat eye' shape.

Because of this, your eyelid space will be opened up a little and the lift will reduce the eye sagging related to age.

The treatment is quite simple – using dissolvable suture threads, the outer brow and eye corner is pulled to lift any sagging of the upper eyelid. The amount of lift given is completely customisable, depending on the severity of sagging and the result you want to achieve.

1.

THE CONSULTATION

This is the first step in the 'Fox Eye' lift procedure and an important one as it will determine where and how much lift you would like to achieve.

You can have a little lift to the eyes, or a slightly more extreme lift, or choose to have just your eye lifted and or the tail of the brow and even the brow itself for a nice little 3-in-1 lift!

Whatever you choose, it will be discussed at this point.

2.

INITIAL PROCEDURE

The procedure itself will not take long at all - perhaps around 30 minutes in total.

It is more or less pain free, but you may just feel some 'pressure' or 'pushing' and 'pulling'. This is all normal and part of the process.

3.

AFTERCARE ADVICE

You will be given an aftercare card to take away with you, but you should avoid alcohol and exercise for 2 days post procedure.

You should not perform strenuous exercise for 2 weeks after and most importantly, no running/skipping/jumping/heavy lifting.

Avoid rubbing the treated area for 2 weeks post procedure.

FAQ's

WHAT IS THE FOX EYE THREAD LIFT?

The Fox Eye Thread-lift is a procedure which uses dissolvable threads to lift and elongate the eye to create a more almond shape, whilst simultaneously lifting the brow tail. This creates a Bella Hadid-like look with a more open upper eyelid.

HOW DOES THE FOX EYE THREAD LIFT WORK?

The Fox Eye Thread-lift works by pulling up of the outer brow by the use of PDO threads. These threads have either cog or barbs to hold the skin positioned once they are in place.

HOW IS THE FOX EYE THREAD LIFT PERFORMED?

The Fox Eye Thread-lift is a relatively quick procedure performed in around 20-30mins.

You will first be marked out to ensure symmetry of result. Local anaesthetic is then provided to the treatment area to improve the comfort of the procedure. Threads are then expertly placed to complete the procedure.

CAN THE FOX EYE LIFT NOT BE ACHIEVED WITH ANTI-WRINKLE (BOTOX) INJECTIONS?

No. The lift provided by anti-wrinkle (botox) injections cannot reliably ever produce these results as the muscles do not lift or pull the eye lid up and out in the same way at all.

CAN THE FOX EYE LIFT BE DONE WITH FILLER?

No. Not at all.

Although, there are times when I may suggest enhancing and complimenting your fox eye thread-lift with a touch of dermal filler as this can improve the longevity of results.

IS THE FOX EYE THREAD LIFT PROCEDURE SAFE?

Yes! This is a safe procedure using dissolving biocompatible surgical threads. These threads are composed of the same types of material used in a general operation. The most common risks of the Fox Eye Thread-lift includes swelling and bruising that are short lived.

This will be discussed during your consultation as they relate to you.

WILL I HAVE A SCAR?

No - not at all.

The very nature of this procedure means that there are no incisions and no scars. Scar tissue forms when the skin is damaged and it cannot repair itself properly. Nothing nothing like occurs with the procedure so any incision marks will heal beautifully within around 7-10 days.

IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?

You will be provided with a local anaesthetic injection, which stings but is short lived. After this, the procedure is relatively painless. You will just feel pressure, or pushing or pulling. It can feel a little strange, but is perfectly normal.

WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME?

The Fox Eye Thread lift will heal in around 7-10 days as swelling and bruising settles and subsides.

Most of my clients experience very little in the way of bruising or swelling. It all comes down to the individual however.

HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?

PDO threads last between 6-12 months depending on your lifestyle and activity level. The threads tend to dissolve in around 3-4 months, but the effects last much longer than this.

For longer lasting results a repeat procedure is advisable.

WILL MY SKIN BE MORE SAGGY AFTER THE THREADS DISSOLVE?

No. In fact, your skin will likely be more firm, as threads stimulate collagen which is what makes the skin less prone to sagging or wrinkles!
