semi permanent freckles in Norwich

SEMI-PERMANENT FRECKLES,
NORWICH

Freckles, Norwich £150

Natural looking semi-permanent freckles that will last between 1-3 years.

You will be able to choose how many freckles you want to have and where you would like them placed - there really is no right or wrong.

Having said that, it really is better to start with just a few and a light smattering to start with to make it look most natural.

You can always have a few deepened up and add on a few extra freckles here and there 6 weeks after the initial session for £50.

Please note, that it is VERY important you choose an artist who is skilled and experienced at freckles because if the wrong technique is used, or the incorrect pigment or needles, you can end up with very dark looking spots that will look like permanent blackheads and heal very ashy in the skin.

Freckles - £150

Add a few extra freckles 6 weeks later - £50

1.

THE CONSULTATION

This is an important part of the treatment where we will talk things through with you.

During the consult, you can pencil in where you would like your freckles and we can both have a look to make sure the placement is good before any work goes ahead.

2.

INITIAL PROCEDURE

Depending on the level of freckles you want, this could take about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

I would not normally use any pre-numbing cream as it can displace the small freckles we will have just drawn in, but once I have broken the skin, I will use a secondary numbing gel that will render the procedure totally painless.

3.

AFTERCARE ADVICE

Aftercare is probably the second most important part of the treatment after the pre-draw as this is what will determine your final results. It is of the utmost importance that you follow my in-depth instructions (taken away with you in the form of a card) as I have worked hard to find the best aftercare for my clients and one that will yield almost perfectly healed results.

You will be given a little aftercare goodie bag to take home with you.

PLEASE NOTE: that due to the nature of freckles, you will NOT be able to wear make up for up to 14 days - or whenever the scabbing process is complete.

Wearing makeup before this will greatly affect your results.

Additional Information:

PATCH TESTING:

A patch test is required to be performed at least 24 hours before each appointment. Without one, I'm unable to go ahead with the treatment.

You are welcome to pop in and have me perform the test on you, which literally takes seconds, or I can post one out to you with full instructions.

It is a very simple test and can either be done by yourself, or with someone to help you.

It is incredibly rare to have any reaction at all to the pigments as they are mostly organic in compound, but it is still possible - hence the need for a test.

You will be patch tested for all the products that will be used on and in your skin; the pigments and the lidocaine (numbing gel/cream).

*CONSULTATIONS:

Consultations are done on the day of the procedure before any work goes ahead. We will talk through your options and discuss what will work best for your skin and your desired outcome.

During the consultation we will chat through what outcome you would like to achieve, the best technique to achieve this based on your skin. I will do the pre-draw so you can see the new shape we will be working from, then discuss pigment colour.

Separate consultations are available upon request and are charged at £50 which will go towards the cost of the treatment booked.

Separate consults are not necessary to have and are always done before all treatments go ahead, but they can be arranged if you would like to to go away and think about it some more before booking.

CLIENTS WITH PREVIOUS PERMANENT MAKEUP:

If you have previous semi-permanent makeup on your brows, eyes or lips, then you will need to email me a photograph showing what you currently have, as clear as possible, so I can determine whether I will be able to cover up, or work over it.

Not all previous work can be covered up or worked over for a few reasons:

  • If there is still a lot of pigment in the skin as the skin just won't be able to take any more pigment - just like filling a bucket full of water.

  • If the previous work is poorly shaped, then designing a new shape over the top has to be considered carefully.

  • If the previous work has changed colour to a blue/greenish tint or red/orange tint. Again, depending on the level of the saturation, will depend if more pigment can be added to the skin, or colour corrected, without the previous work showing through once healed.
