A very natural and barely-there look once healed. Great for those who want a

very light base shape to their brows.

Microblading creates very fine hair-stokes using a hand tool and blade. Because of this technique, the results are incredibly natural.

​

PROS: This type of brow heals very light and barely there. Perfect for adding pencil/powder too. Great for very young and dry skin with a perfect complexion.

​

CONS: can only be done once in the skin. This is because the hair strokes will blur over time in the skin. No matter how good the technician is, it is just they way the skin heals and reacts to the pigment in the epidermis when hairstokes are made.

​

This technique is NOT suitable for older, oily, red/ruddy or thick/textured skin.

Older skin is too thin, weak and damaged. Oily skin will instantly blur the strokes within a matter of weeks or months and red/ruddy/textured skin will bleed, ash out the pigment and turn the pigment into a 'fugitive' colour over time.

These results all become very difficult to correct when it is time to have a 12-24 month top-up.

PLEASE NOTE: Because the final healed result of microblading depends 100% on the skin, I will only microblade on clients that I feel are suited to it. I will not offer microblading if I feel your skin is not suitable as the result after a few months will be very undesirable.

If you have skin that is not suitable for microblading, then you may find that Combination Brows or Ombre Powdered Brows are the option for you.

4-6 WEEK TOP UP/REVIEW:

With all the latest techniques, equipment and skin knowledge in the permanent makeup industry, the concept of having 'top-ups' 4-6 weeks later is an outdated one and just not necessary; contrary to popular belief.

If executed and done properly in the initial appointment, coming back to add more pigment ends up over saturating and damaging the skin for nothing.

​

There is no need to add anything more 6 weeks later; as this would indicate barely anything was implanted as it should have been, in the first appointment - which simply shouldn't happen with a good and experienced artist.

​

If however you do feel that you would like a little more added here and there to make the brows bigger, longer or darker for example - beyond the original design, then there is a set-up charge of £50 for this.

*CONSULTATIONS:

Consultations are done on the day of the procedure before any work goes ahead. We will talk through your options and discuss what will work best for your skin and your desired outcome.

During the consultation we will chat through what outcome you would like to achieve, the best technique to achieve this based on your skin. I will do the pre-draw so you can see the new shape we will be working from, then discuss pigment colour.

Separate consultations are available upon request and are charged at £50 which will go towards the cost of the treatment booked.

Separate consults are not necessary to have and are always done before all treatments go ahead, but they can be arranged if you would like to to go away and think about it some more before booking.

CLIENTS WITH PREVIOUS SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP:

If you have previous permanent makeup/tattoo on your brows, eyes or lips, then you will need to email me a photograph showing what you currently have, as clear as possible, so I can determine whether I will be able to cover up, or work over it.

Not all previous work can be covered up or worked over for a few reasons:

• If there is still a lot of pigment in the skin as the skin just won't be able to take any more pigment - just like filling a bucket full of water.

• If the previous work is poorly shaped, then designing a new shape over the top has to be considered carefully.

• If the previous work has changed colour to a blue/greenish tint or red/orange tint. Again, depending on the level of the saturation, will depend if more pigment can be added to the skin, or colour corrected, without the previous work showing through once healed.
